A1: There is no reason why not.
=> According to Article 7 of the scientific prize regulations, members of the selection and award jury employed by VIGINUM will recuse themselves from evaluating the article.
Q2: Does the call for entries only concern research focusing on campaigns originating abroad?
A2: Not necessarily.
=> The prize aims to reward work in digital science applied to the fight against information manipulation. As long as the methodology can be applied to campaigns originating abroad, the article is relevant for the prize. If the proposed method is applied to domestic manipulation in the submitted article, it may be useful to specify in the presentation note accompanying the article how the methodology is relevant to foreign campaigns.
